Atlanta movers

Atlanta is a vibrant Southern city with nearly half a million residents. Besides being a cultural haven in the region, it's also Georgia's capital city. Various companies have their offices and headquarters located here, which draws in many new arrivals each year. However, those who are just moving to Atlanta may not know much about the various neighborhoods. As local movers, Air-Land-Sea Van Lines has been all over this great city.

Atlanta Residential Movers Can Take You to Any Neighborhood

We've been serving customers in the Atlanta area since 1994. As such, we are familiar with this metropolitan area. Our team of skilled residential movers can smoothly relocate you to any of the multiple neighborhoods within and suburbs around the city. Our movers also provide complete packing and unpacking services. The most pressing concern you'll have is picking the place you want to live.

Since our out-of-town customers may not be as familiar with Atlanta, Air-Land-Sea Van Lines has put together a short list of the top three neighborhoods within the city.

#1 North Buckhead

The most populated area is North Buckhead, but is also boasts plenty of housing options, such as apartments and condominiums. This is a big family friendly neighborhood with nearby Chastain Park and Blue Heron Nature Preserve. It can be quite an investment with the average house listing at about $550,000 and up. This tends to draw in residents with higher income jobs averaging about $93,000 a year.

#2 Virginia Highlands (VaHi)

This neighborhood is a choice spot for trendy young adults and families. VaHi boasts an average income of about $96,000 per resident and an average home price of $450,000 and up. It's also very pedestrian friendly with four walkable blocks with quirky shops and restaurants, and a beautiful public arboretum. It is also less than five minutes from downtown Atlanta.

#3 Chastain Park

Perhaps the richest Atlanta neighborhood, Chastain Park boasts residents with an average income of about $155,000. Homes can be a pricy investment at over $600,000 and up, but they are worth it for the access to many wonderful area recreational facilities and amenities, such as a horse park and local pool. It's also a short commute of about five minutes from Buckhead business district and 10 minutes from the interstate.
